We had another amazing week at Lakeside Middle School. 6th grade students began taking the PARCC on Thursday. Thank you so much to Mrs. Hallenbeck and Mr. Hudson for coordinating the PARCC.

We also hosted about 20 students for Bring Your Child to Work on Thursday. Kids got a chance to see our morning announcements, take part in science experiments, eat lunch with the Principal and do some team building exercises.

Welcome back! We hoped you had a great Spring Break and are ready to return to school. The week before Spring Break was busy as we kicked off Autism Awareness, hosted our annual JDRF Walk, and had our monthly PBSIS reward party. We were exhausted after all of that so Spring Break came at a great time.

This week we have rescheduled the Spirit Week until after the PARCC. Stay tuned for more details. We have our monthly PTO meeting on Tuesday at 6:00 PM. This Thursday we are hosting our annual Take Your Child To Work Day. If your child is planning to participate in this event, we are requesting that you have the workplace provide a note.
