Welcome back! We hoped you had a great Spring Break and are ready to return to school. The week before Spring Break was busy as we kicked off Autism Awareness, hosted our annual JDRF Walk, and had our monthly PBSIS reward party. We were exhausted after all of that so Spring Break came at a great time.

This week we have rescheduled the Spirit Week until after the PARCC. Stay tuned for more details. We have our monthly PTO meeting on Tuesday at 6:00 PM. This Thursday we are hosting our annual Take Your Child To Work Day. If your child is planning to participate in this event, we are requesting that you have the workplace provide a note.

Support Samara by purchasing a chocolate bow today during your lunch period in the cafeteria. Samara is currently recovering from her fight against cancer and we need to get together as a Lakeside family to show our support.  Large bows are $2 and small bows are $1 and all money will be donated to the Somerville family. These bows make great basket fillers too!

Tickets are now on sale for Lakeside Family Friendly Night at the Philadelphia Phillies Game on Friday, June 2nd. Bus leaves Lakeside at 5 and returns at 11. Tickets are $25 cash (only-no checks accepted) per person and pizza and soda will be provided at 4:00 p.m. at Lakeside before the game. Permission slips are available in the main office. Permission slips can be returned to Mrs. Benfer in the main office.
