October 26 - 30, 2020

Lakeside Lightning,

The School of Tomorrow, Today!

At Lakeside we PIVOT! Ever since the pandemic started we have had to change and adapt with challenges and opportunities. This week we had to continue to Pivot as we dealt with our first case of COVID 19. We want to thank everyone for their support and understanding

As for the safety of the staff and students, Dr. Cook, Principal said, "According to the Department of Health we are not considered "close contacts" due to the fact that we wear masks, practice social distancing, and wash hands frequently. With that said, we are operating with an abundance of caution." We will continue to put our reopening plan in to practice to ensure the safety of our staff and students.

Here are resources for parents, students and staff:

Lakeside Lightning,

The School Of Tomorrow, Today!

We had a very successful first week of Hybrid Learning at LMS. We were so impressed with the staff as they welcomed everyone into the building, reviewed in-person expectations, and followed the protocols set forth. The students were all screened prior to entering the building, kept their masks on (unless going outside for a mask break) as well socially distanced in the hallways and cafeteria.

This week we look to continue our in-person instruction as we also maintain our online/virtual learning. Here is the schedule this week. Be sure to reach out to your teachers or guidance counselor if you have any questions.
