We have been fully engaged in the PARCC exams this past week. Our 6th graders finished up their PARCC and the 7th graders began and finished their testing. We could not have completed such a task without the cooperation of all of our staff under the leadership of Mrs. Hallenbeck and Mr. Hudson!

This week we will be celebrating National Teacher Appreciation Week! Each day we have activities and rewards for our staff because they have had such an impact on our school! Be sure to #thankateacher this week!

In addition to the PARCC exams, our students have been working hard on various learning tasks. This is a great time of year for students and teachers to take learning to the next level. Some classes have been going outside, while others are creating new projects. Each and everyday something new is happening at LMS!

Any Lakeside student interested in the SUMMER art program, please see Ms. Heim ASAP. Permission slips are due no later than June 2.  Limited Space available.

WOW! Look at what time it is!  Yes, it is SEMI TIME.   Tickets are on sale now until Thursday May 11th during homeroom only in Y105, Ms. Kern's room. Bring $8 and permission slip to reserve your spot for the semi.  On the night of the event tickets are $10 with your permission slip.  Oh, did I mention you’d be the last to get in?  Don't be left out- make sure to get your pre event ticket soon. See you there.

Last chance to pre-order your yearbook is now!!  You only have until May 25th to bring your $25, cash or check to Millville Board of Education, to Mrs. Sooy in M133. Guarantee that you get a yearbook by pre-ordering one!!  Once they come in they will be sold on a first come, first serve basis until they are sold out.  Don't miss out on a year of amazing memories!!

Tickets are still available for Lakeside Family Friendly Night at the Philadelphia Phillies Game on Friday, June 2nd. Bus leaves Lakeside at 5 and returns at 11. Tickets are $25 cash (only-no checks accepted) per person and pizza and soda will be provided at 4:00 p.m. at Lakeside before the game. Permission slips are available in the main office. Permission slips can be returned to Mrs. Benfer in the main office.

Winner of the Week - The week's winners are the secretaries of LMS! We thank each and everyone of our secretaries for all they do to help our school. Mrs. Diaz, Mrs. Hardy, Mrs. Hennis, Mrs. Kavanagh, Mrs. Martin, Mrs. Elwell, Mrs. Schwegel, and Mrs. Gandy!
