It's All About Respect at LMS!
It's beginning to look a lot like.... December! We are looking forward to the month of December at LMS because there are always so many great things happening at our school. Our Winter Sports are off to a great start and we looking forward to seeing the Jr. Bolts on the court for basketball and the mat for wrestling. The Beauty and the Beast auditions were very successful and soon the cast will be notified with production starting. The Winter Concerts will be taking place on Monday and Wednesday. This week we have the annual Book Fair. That is just in one week! Throughout the month there are many other activities planned such as AVID re-validation, Coats for Kids, Pajama Day and much more. We will definitely be making this a December to Remember!

Winter concerts: 7th and 8th grade is December 3 and 6th grade is December 5. Both take place at Lakeside at 7:00pm

Are you a 6th, 7th, or 8th grade girl interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics? Would you be interested in participating in a Tween Tech STEM Event where you will get to explore robotics, technology, chemistry, biology, physics, environmental science, marine anatomy, cyber security and more. If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, come get a form from Ms. Carroll, Mrs. Balinge, Mrs. Clarke, or Mrs. Salvati and turn it in by Thursday December 6th to have a chance of attending Tween Tech in March at Cumberland County College. Only 40 girls can be selected, so get your form in today!
Lets make the "Howl-i-Days" great for local pets in shelters this year. Bring in dog and cat food and treats,blankets, and toys. Take the donations to Mrs. Lokuta's room B107, any day until December 14th. All donations will be brought to the SPCA. Thank you for your help!

- Brand-new pajamas in all sizes from newborn to adult
- Pajamas must be complete sets—a top and bottom or an appropriate nightgown
- Please send in new pairs of pajamas to school by Dec. 12
For every pair of pajamas that is donated through The Pajama Drive, Scholastic Book Clubs will donate a brand-new book to The Pajama Program. Please donate a brand-new pajamas. Help us to help others. Thank You!
Homework club will have its first meeting after school on Thursday December 6th in Mrs. Clarke's room, M109. The club is open to all grade levels and subjects. You must have a ride home at 4:15 in order to attend. Permission slips are available during homeroom in M109
