We are excited about the upcoming 6th grade Boot Camp. There is still time to sign up.
All incoming 6th grade students were recently sent a letter about the Boot Camp. We are excited to announce that we are hosting our first Boot Camp for incoming 6th graders on August 8th and 9th. The goal of the Boot Camp is to discuss the transitional process by demonstrating binder set up, establishing realistic expectations, and creating group activities. We hope to accomplish a positive experience while teaching new skills as our students’ transition into the middle school setting.

The 6th Grade Boot Camp will be held at Lakeside Middle School during the following dates and times (You only need to register for one session. Also, sessions will be limited to 30 students to ensure individual attention):

Session 1-  August 8, 2016 (9:00 AM- 10:30 AM)(There are a few slots open for this session)
Session 2-  August 8, 2016 (11:00 AM- 12:30 PM) (registration is closed for this session)

Happy Birthday Mrs. Hennis!
This week Lakeside will be sending teachers to the annual Regional Achievement Center (RAC) Summer Institute. Our staff will be learning about developing a culture of reflection and practice through various workshops! We are excited to see what they bring back to the school!

Also this week, the Millville Administrators will be having their yearly meetings to discuss areas to improve. This will be a great time for all of the schools to share their successes and areas to improve in the upcoming year! Stay tuned for more details!

Students - Make sure you are completing your summer reading. In case you need more information, here is the link for all summer reading for Lakeside Middle School.
