Century 21 continues to amaze everyone

This week the students submitted blog posts for the Lightning Round. We are very proud of these students.

#STEMchallenges By JJ
Some things I like about 21st Century are that they take us kayaking and swimming in the water almost every week, and the aides are very relaxed. We get to go to the gym almost every day and there are a lot of fun things we get to try out. One of my favorite things we do is the STEM challenges. We are finished though, and my team won. #Animalblog  By: HelenaSo, yesterday (7-11-16) a woman came in with 4 bunnies and a rat. One was named Elsa; she was older and very shy. The next one was named Rex; he was a chocolate bunny and he was very cute. Jet, the bunny she brought out next, was Rex’s dad. He was fluffy and if you scratched his chin his ear would bend. Then the last bunny had a white body and brown spots with course but fine hair. I am not sure what her name was, but she liked being held. Last but not least, Felix the rat was shown. He was very shy and didn’t come out of his crate. She is planning to come back, and I can’t wait to see what she brings next.

#freetime By: JBI like when we have free time to go to the gym and play basketball with other classmates. Another fun activity is when we went to Union Lake and caught fish, canoed with two other classmates, and swam in a group with all of my friends.

#Stencilart By: AlexiYesterday, July 11th, a lady came in to teach us about stencil art. It was fun working with the different types of designs on a piece of paper.  It was neat how we smeared the paint over the design and it came out on the piece of cloth. Next time she comes, she is going to let us how to create our own design so we can stencil it on our piece of cloth.
