It's All About Respect at LMS!
Welcome back and Happy New Year! We are so excited for 2020. Our staff has some awesome things in store for the new year. This week we will be transitioning back to school and re-establishing routines.
As always, we are on the continuous improvement cycle so be on the look out for changes, updates and new information. In the meantime, continue to be respectful because that's what it's all about at Lakeside!!!!

Non Negotiables - As we begin the New Year we wanted to continue to remind everyone of what we are committed to at Lakeside Middle School.
- Cell Phones - Must be off and in lockers while in LMS
- Profanity - Both indirect and direct profanity will not be tolerated
- Disrespect - Students will demonstrate respect towards others, staff, and school environment at all times
- Back and Forth - Students will accept the response of the staff member without negotiation
- School Dress Code - Students will be dressed appropriately at all times
- Hallways - Students will walk to the right, keep their hands and feet to themselves, keep voices down, and walk at all times
Script to be read in the beginning of each class, "In this school, we expect that you will follow our non-negotiables. We do not use cell phones, we respect each other, we are dressed appropriately, and we do not use profanity.”
Script to be read at the end of each class, "As we begin our day remember that before we enter the hallways, we walk to the right, we keep our hands and feet to ourselves and we keep our voices down.”

We will miss you Mrs. Rauch - December 20 was Mrs. Rauch's last day at LMS. She will be missed as she was involved with so many activities to improve LMS! Althouigh we are sad to see her go, we are excited for her new venture! Good luck Mrs. Rauch.

Winners of the Week - This week we have two very special Winners of the Week.
Maren Woodman organized her second annual Happy Howl- a- Days. She collected cat and dog food, blankets, toys and treats for cats and dogs in the SPCA.
Ayla Gomez collected over 80 beanies that she delivered to Inspira Hospital for those who are sick.
