Lakeside Lightning,
As part of our ongoing partnership with Rowan College, AVID, and NJ Farmers Against Hunger, the Lakeside Community is invited to participate in a "gleaning" at Sheppard's Farm on Monday September 21, 2020 from 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM.
The "gleaning" is a service-oriented experience designed to pick vegetables not ready for stores but will be donated to local food banks or community programs. Be sure to dress in clothes that you won't mind getting dirty and wear a mask. Parents who bring their children are required to stay with their children the entire time and there is no transportation to or from the farm.
