Just a reminder that there will be no school on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 for Staff Professional Development.
Have you ever heard the saying, "Take a picture it will last longer." Well we do not want to miss our deadline for the yearbook so we have schedule two picture days through Basetti Photography. The pictures will be taken in the Lakeside Main Gym on February 3 and 4. We will also schedule make ups based on our turnout. All information for signing up can be found on this link. Lakeside Middle School started a new initiative to recognize those students who are going above and beyond during the Remote Learning Experience. Our Vice Principals (Mr. Godfrey, Mr. Jimenez and Ms. Gaunt) personally delivered the recognition certificates and balloons. Congratulations to all of our winners!

Lakeside Middle School requires all students to be photographed for their administrative purposes. Picture Days are being offered on Wednesday, February 3rd and Thursday, February 4, 2021. Parents can choose to sign up for a time slot on either day. Only the student being photographed will come inside the school gym at their scheduled time slot. Please arrive as close to your scheduled time as possible. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
No money is due at this time. Parents will have the option to purchase after viewing the student photos online in a private gallery. Please contact Bassetti Photo with any scheduling or ordering questions. Don't miss out on getting in the school yearbook this year!

6th Grade Chat and Chill
Just a couple pictures from this weeks 6th grade Chat & Chill. About 30 different students attended this week. Each session had about 12 students on average and many students attended multiple sessions. Next week there will be Chat & Chills every day except Wednesday.
Reminder
The second marking period ends on January 26, 2021. Please continue to have your student monitor their grades using Infinite Campus. Have you signed up for Infinite Campus? Be sure to fill out this form to get set up for the Parent Portal.
Late Policies for LAL and Math
As of Monday, January 18th, all Math and Language Arts teachers have posted their late policies on their Google Classroom.
- Go to eshare.com and enter code Lakeside21. You will then have to register and accept the terms of eShare. After that Browse Pictures and Upload away.
- Download the eshare Herff Jones app for iPhones or Androids. Then enter the code: Lakeside21
- LMS Camera Policy
- Camera on at all times
- Camera must be on from beginning of class until teacher dismisses class
- Exception- Camera can be shut off if a student needs to step away from the computer temporarily.
- Parental request will void camera policy
- 10:00am - 5:00pm Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays (Senior High, Memorial, Lakeside, Holly Heights, Bacon, Silver Run, Mt. Pleasant, and CFC)
- On Mondays - 3 breakfast, lunch, & dinners
- On Wednesdays - 2 breakfast, lunch, & dinners
- On Fridays - 2 breakfast, lunch, & dinners
