Can't hide that Millville Pride!
Lakeside Lightning,

It's All About Respect at LMS!

We hope that everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving break. Prior to the break, the staff were asked to identify students that they were grateful to have in their class. These are the students who embody our mission and exhibit the type of behavior we seek at LMS. In total, we sent out over 275 individualized letters. Did you receive one? Be sure to share it out!

This week we settle back into our normal schedule! We are hosting auditions for Beauty and the Beast on Tuesday and Thursday. Each year our musicals are the talk of the town because the kids do such an amazing job! This year we will continue putting on the best performance we can!

Mark your calendars for the 2nd Annual Millville Youth Empowerment Summit (#millvilleYES). We will continue to provide an excellent conference for students 6th grade through 12th grade. Our goal is to inspire students to make change in the community and prepare them for anything they want to do in life! Join us at the Lakeside Auditorium at 8:30 AM on March 16, 2019. There is no cost for this Youth Summitt and there will be free food, amazing speakers and presenters as well as an opportunity for students to share their thoughts at the Student Ignite Sessions. Check out our blog for more information.

In an act of community service, our 6th Grade Social Studies students made "Get Well" cards for Mrs. Dottie Cullen.  She is a great patriot and an outstanding Millvillian who has spent the past 70 years of her life dedicating her time to helping improve the lives of veterans.  Dottie  usually attends our Veterans' Day assembly, and even spoke last year.  However, she has broken her leg and was unable to attend last Wednesday's celebration.
