Lakeside Lightning Round - March 1 - 5, 2021

Octavis earned 100% in Math

Lakeside Lightning,

The School of Tomorrow, Today!

The old adage is that March comes in like a Lion and out like a Lamb. Very soon we will be seeing longer days (with daylight savings time coming up on March 14) and the temperatures warming up. Spring is coming!!!

We are going to be celebrating Women's History Month in March. Each day our announcements will have information about a woman who had an impact on our society. In addition. classes will integrate various activities into the classes to honor women!

Our return to hybrid has been going very and safe. Our district is already planning some potential changes for the 4th marking period in hopes of bringing back more kids in person learning. Of course this is a very large undertaking that will require lots of coordination but we are committed to keep moving forward. We appreciate everyone's patience as well as their commitment to maintaining a safe learning environment.
