Lakeside Lightning,
Turning Dreams Into Reality
|
Roshaud Rhett with the Championship Trophy |
We are really turning dreams into reality each and everyday at LMS. This week we were able to showcase our school on several venues.
Earlier in the week we were fortunate to be featured in SNJ's spotlight regarding our music program. In case you missed it, you can see it
here. Please let us know if you want to donate. We have already collected several instruments and over 300.00 dollars!
We showed off our school for visitors from Pleasentville Middle School. They were so impressed with our AVID and PBSIS programs. They learned a great deal from AVID our site team through tutorials, philosophical chairs and question and answers.
They were especially impressed with our students behavior in classrooms and in the hallways. Way to go LMS.

AVID Students showcasing our school |
Our students participating in the PAL Basketball League were part of a championship season. Thank you to all of the students and parents involved. We also want to thank our amazing Millville Police Department for their support.
This was our week on SNJ. Three of our students were featured on SNJ for their work in celebrating our Veterans.
Check out Aiden Kavanagh, 7th grader at LMS, as he discusses his project with friends Parker and Shannon. He gives some shout outs to LMS. We are so proud of these students for supporting the Millville community. Want to checkout the show? Click
here.
We were so happy to learn that Samara Somerville was recently released from the hospital. Her mom invited a few friends and teachers out to Friendly's for a treat. We are so glad to hear the great news and to see Samara with her friends!!!!
