8th Grade End of the Year Activities and Points
On Monday, May 17, 2021, we will begin our End of the Year Activities Point System for our 8th-graders. Each of our students will begin with 50 LMS Points. Eligible students must have a minimum of 35 points on Friday, June 4, 2021, to participate in any of the End of the Year activities during the week of June 7, 2021-June 11, 2021. Here is an overview of the End of Year Activities Point System.
Mask Infractions
We have been having issues with students wearing their masks properly. Those students who have been habitually and continually defying the mask protocols will be written up on a Major Discipline Referral and parents will be contacted. At this point, students will receive one official warning with an administrator calling home. Any successive mask infractions will result in those students being placed in Virtual.

LMS Staff Going the Extra Mile - Mr. Hickman
Ms. Carroll, through our partnership with the Whole Health Ed Organization, will be starting a garden near Bus Lot A. She reached out to Mr. Hickman who brought in his own Roto-Tiller and took care of the project for Ms. Carroll. We know everyone loves Mr. Hickman as a teacher and we are so grateful to have his assistance with areas to improve the school. Thanks Mr. Hickman!
