Lakeside Lightning Round 12/6 - 12/10, 2021

Ms. Carroll is 2021-22 Teacher of the Year

Lakeside Lightning.

Grow through what you go through

We made a smooth transition back from the Thanksgiving Break. In fact, we were very pleased with how the students responded to using their lockers, and placing their bookbags and cell phones in there. Of course, it has caused some issues and the students are working on things such as time management and ensuring that they know how to open their own locker.

We are moving into the second marking period. Letters will be going out this week for those students who failed a class (or more) during the first marking period. Our Retention Policy will continue to be enforced this year (failing two classes will be Summer School) and 3 or more will be retained. Be sure to check in with your child's guidance counselor if you have specific questions or concerns.

Reminder that we have an Early Dismissal on Wednesday 12/8/21.

Pajama Day - A Huge Success! From Mrs. Lokuta

As always, I am completely overwhelmed by the generosity of staff and students at Lakeside. We currently have over $725 raised for CHOP. I would like to say a very special “Thank You!” to the staff and students who helped run the collections, especially Ms. Votta, Mrs., Gandy, and Ms. DiMattia who collected during homeroom this week.
