We had a very exciting week. Our 6th graders, who never got a chance to compete in Olympic Day, were able to have a fun filled day with the same events as the elementary competition. The students and staff had an amazing day.

On Friday, June 3, at the High Notes Festival in Hershey, PA our Symphonic Band, Schola Cantorum, and 8th grade members of band and choir competed in adjudication. Symphonic Band received a rating of Superior, Schola Cantorum and Chorale both received ratings of Excellent. After the competition, the students got a chanced to have fun at Hersey Park!

This week the students will be taking their Final Exams in each of the year long courses. Our End of the Year AVID dinner will be on Wednesday. This will be a great event for our students and parents!

On Friday, June 10, we will be hosting our first Semi Formal 8th Grade Dance in two years! This exciting event is only open to those students who are in good academic standing and have earned enough points.

The final days are coming up for 8th grade Semi ticket purchases. No tickets will be sold at the door. Make sure you have enough points and are not on the restricted list in order to purchase your ticket. Final day for purchase will be Monday, June 6th

Every 8th grader who has purchased a yearbook will receive it at the 8th grade BBQ June 15th. There will be a limited amount available for the purchase price of $30 at the BBQ too. 😊 (All other yearbooks will be distributed to 6th and 7th graders during homeroom on 20th of June.)

LMS partners with Cradles to Crayons and donated to Project HOPE

Thank you to Mr. Parvin for securing a partnership with Cradles to Crayons for a generous donation to Project HOPE. We donated 75 outfit packs, 46 diaper boxes and 75 Hygiene packs to the Project HOPE (which took place on Saturday, June 4, 2022). This partnership was started by Mia Angelo who talked about her ideas with Dr. Cook about how our school could help support this worthy cause! Thank you Mia for inspiring everyone!!!
