The Music Man
We had another memorable week at Lakeside. Over the course of the week we had a very successful Science Fair. The projects that were chosen showed a lot of hard work from our students. We also had our Spring play last week, The Music Man. The students did a phenomenal job with the production. Everyone who was able to see it was so impressed. There were a lot of teachers who were responsible for assisting with the play. Thanks also goes out Mrs. Gaudio and Mrs. Booz for coordinating the amazing production!

Some of the 7th and 8th grade math teachers celebrated Pi Day this past Monday (3/14). The Philly Pretzel Factory made us our own Pi symbol pretzels as well as circular pretzels that the students could find the circumference of and discover Pi on their own.  Some classes also had a paper chain competition where they tried to create the longest paper chain using as many digits of pi as possible. Overall, it was a very successful and an enjoyable day for everyone involved! See below for pictures!

This week we will be inducting students into the National Junior Honor Society! The event takes place on Tuesday, March 22 at 6:30 PM in the Performing Arts Center. We hope to see you there.

Lakseside staff are encouraged take a minute and look around and find acts of kindness, good deeds or just offer a kind word to a colleague. We have lemonade notes on the counter in the main office. All you have to do is fill out name of colleague on front and encouraging note on back (you can sign it or remain anonymous) and place in lemonade stand box in Mrs. Benfer's office
