May 9 - 13, 2016

Lakeside Lightning,

Lakeside is an opportunity, not an obligation!

Last week we celebrated National Teacher Appreciation Week. Each day the staff was acknowledged with a special treat. A very big thank you to the Parent Teacher Orientation for sponsoring the week.
Monday - We distributed 5 gift cards to lucky staff.
Tuesday - Pretzel Day - Each staff member was treated to a pretzel. In addition we gave out 6 Wawa gift cards to lucky staff.
Wednesday - Cookie Day - The cafeteria staff baked cookies for the staff.
Thursday - Rita's Water Ice - Each staff member enjoyed cherry or mango water ice from Rita's.
Friday - Bagels and Muffins - Upon arrival, the staff was treated to bagels and muffins in their grade level break rooms.

On Friday we hosted the Semi-Formal for our 8th graders. The students looked amazing! During the dance, the students had fun and acted appropriately. A Big Thank You to Mrs. Kern and the Student Council for hosting such a tremendous event. Also, thank you to all of the teachers who came out to support our students! We will be collecting all of the pictures that the students took and turning them into a video (check back soon).
