LMS Whole School Assembly
Lakeside Lightning,

It's All About Respect at LMS!

Did you know?
According to the latest enrollment reports, Lakeside Middle School is the largest school in the district! We have 1,059 students enrolled! Thank you for choosing Lakeside!

Weekly Overview
We had a four day week this week due to the Staff Professional Development Day on Wednesday. During the Professional Development day, the entire district visited LMS as we hosted sessions on Professional Learning Communities and Social and Emotional Learning. One of the activities involved making puppets and using the puppets to convey thoughts and emotions. The goal is to integrate this in to the classroom to help students.

This week coming up we have another four day week. All district schools will be closed on Monday in observance of Columbus Day. On Thursday we will be preparing for our AVID re-validation of our National Demonstration School status. We will have visitors to classes observing and evaluating how are implementing AVID throughout the school as well as using the instructional strategies to increase Rigor.  We are very excited about this re-validation opportunity!

Join LMS for the Alzheimers Walk on Saturday October 13 at Motorsports Park.
