Lakeside Lightning Round - January 17 - 21, 2022

Lakeside Lightning,

Grow through what you go through!

On behalf of the staff and administration at Lakeside Middle School, we want to acknowledge Martin Luther King Jr. for his amazing contributions to our society. Each January we take a day off of school to remember the legacy of Dr. King and more importantly, to continue to uphold his nonviolent principles to equity and diversity.

We know that this school year has been challenging as we continue to deal with the pandemic. One of the quotes by Dr. King that is so meaningful and appropriate for this school year is the following:

If you can't fly, then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.  Dr. King

We hope that each and everyone of you continue to move forward and become better for yourself! We look forward to helping you achieve your goals at Lakeside Middle School!
