This is the text from the All Call that Dr. Cook sent out regarding Material Distribution and Virtual Orientation.
Hello Lakeside families. This is Dr. Cook, Principal with a long but informative message so I thank you in advance. All of this information will be posted on our Blog and Facebook.
On August 24th we will be holding our “2020-2021 Material Distribution”. At this time we will be distributing one Chromebook for each student, as well as the student’s schedule and a packet of information that will contain the medical release, Parent Portal log in for Infinite Campus, and how to log into email.. We will also be collecting information on your internet availability to assist those who may need it. These materials will only be distributed to a parent or guardian of Lakeside Middle School student. If you have a device at home we still encourage you to use one of our school issued Chromebooks.
Here are the times we are suggesting you to pick up the materials:
6th grade is 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
7th grade is 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM
8th grade is 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
If you can not make these times, our office will be open Tuesday through Thursday for parents to pick up the materials from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
On Monday, August 24, please enter on the left side of the building (closest to Genesis) on Sharp Street and you will be directed through our process. We are hoping to make this as quick as possible but due to the size of our school, please anticipate potential delays.
In addition, we will be having a Virtual Orientation for all students and parents on August 27, 2020 at 6:00 PM. The link and information will be released next week on our Facebook Page and the Lakeside Lightning Round Blog which are two very important areas where we communicate with students and families regularly. We will also do another school call to remind families.
