The School of Tomorrow, Today!
We are excited to be coming Back to School. Although this isn't the beginning of the year that we were hoping for, we are making the best of all of this! Since our school is completely Virtual until October 13, 2020 we are eagerly preparing the Virtual return to school. We started off by doing our first Virtual Orientation. This week, the teachers are preparing Welcome Back videos and lessons through Google Classroom. We are already preparing for our Back to School Night.
Here are a few things you can do to prepare for the Virtual school year.
Infinite Campus Parent Portal - This is extremely important for LMS Families. You will find the schedule and eventually attendance and grades.
Millville Public Schools Reopening 2020-2021 - This site has all of the school reopening information that will help you see the district's plan. There is a section for students and families that describes the various applications that are valuable.
Lakeside's Virtual Experience - In this video, the LMS Admin team developed a presentation to ensure students and families know everything that is expected for the Virtual Experience this year.
Virtual Experience Google Slides - Here is the link to the Google Slides that accompany the Virtual Orientation. There are links in this to help you with the information presented.
Chromebook Distribution
On Monday, August 24 we hosted a Chromebook Distribution. We distributed 581 Chromebooks. Then, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we distributed another 150 Chromebooks. If you haven't received your Chromebook, you can go to the Main Office August 31, September 1 and 2 from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. If you have any questions please contact our main office at 856-293-2420

Monday - Office Hours 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Chromebook pick up 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
Tuesday - Staff Professional Day 1; Office Hours 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Chromebook pick up 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
Wednesday - Staff Professional Day 2; Office Hours 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Chromebook pick up 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM). Check emails from teachers about Google Classrooms
Thursday - First Day of 2020-2021 School Year. All students are required to be in their teacher's Google Classroom
Friday - Second Day of 2020-2021 School Year. All students are required to be in their teacher's Google Classroom
