We have been very busy with our Reopening and Academic Planning for the upcoming school year! Our staff has really been working hard to ensure we are complying with the NJDOE regulations and creating an environment conducive to 21st Century Learning. It is not easy but we are up for the challenge!
Our school is ready to distribute Chromebooks to all students (Hybrid and Virtual) on Monday, August 24, 2020. We are requiring students and families to get their Chromebooks as well as all Back to School Paperwork. As always, we will create an efficient and easy to follow process. Mark your calendars!
2020-2021 School Year Distribution - Monday, August 24, 2020
On this date we will be distributing important information that you and your student will need to begin the new school year. We will only be distributing materials to students who will be in 6-8th grade this year. Unfortunately, we will not be able to distribute materials to siblings in the district unless they are Lakeside students. At this time we will also be distributing one Chromebook for each student.
This year we will be requiring hybrid students to bring their school issued Chromebook to Lakeside with them each day they are required to attend. Therefore, even if you have your own device at home, please make every attempt to attend this important event at the following times: If your child is in 6th grade your pick up time is between 9&12, If your child is in 7th grade your pick up time is between 12&3, If your child is in 8th grade your pick up time is between 3&6.
It is important that you have your child's student ID number which is also their lunch number before you arrive.
Please enter on the left side of the building (closest to Genesis) and plan to exit near the Target parking lot. Please also be sure to visit the Infinite Campus portal to sign any necessary permission slips.

Food Distribution
Weekly meal distribution will continue throughout the summer under the Summer Feeding Program. Meals can be picked up on Mondays (3 days of meals) and Thursday (4 days of meals) between 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at Memorial High School, Lakeside Middle School, and Bacon Elementary School. Questions?
