We are very excited for the Seussical Performance this Friday and Saturday at 7:00 PM. Our students have been working very hard over the past few months to prepare for these performances. Break a leg kids! This year the kids will literally be flying around the Lakeside Auditorium. Mrs. Booz and Ms. Zeiters promise us that it will be a performance to remember!

Last week we hosted an ESSA and School Improvement Planning session for parents. We would like to thank the two parents who attended. We were able to talk about some of the things going well at LMS and things to improve.

Please note that there is NO SCHOOL on Wednesday, March 7 due to Teacher In-service! 

Millville Youth Empowerment Summit - Say YES TO LMS! 
Mark your calendar for the first Millville Youth Empowerment Summit on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Lakeside Middle School. This Summit will feature exciting workshops on topics such as leadership, mindfulness, careers and health and wellness. There is no cost tot the Summit and there is free food and giveaways! After many months of hard work, our Lakeside LIVE News is officially up and running! While we originally planned to have it on the television like before, constant change in technology has led us to pursue a different angle. Beginning Monday, March 5th, announcements will be LIVE streamed on our new YouTube station. Be sure to click here for the link and subscribe to our channel!

As of now the Family Friendly Trip to the 76ers on March 19th is sold out!  I repeat the Family Friendly trip to the 76ers is SOLD OUT! 

Attention students: Black and white pictures are still needed for the yearbook. Please upload them as soon as possible to hjeshare.com and use the code Lakeside18. See Mrs. Sooy with any questions.

One fish, two fish, how about a Hershey kiss? On March 9th and 10th at 7pm the Lakeside Music Department will be performing Seussical Jr! Show the cast some love starting Monday March 5th.  For only 25 cents you can purchase a Hershey Kiss and write a cast member a note.  They will be delivered to them at the end of the Saturday performance.  Just remember to look for the "Kiss the Cast" cart during lunches and purchase them soon!

The Lakeside Drama Club is proud to announce that the production of Seussical, Jr will be presented on Friday, March 9 and Saturday March 10th.   The show starts at 7:00pm and the tickets are $5.   Please come out and support your friends.  We have aspecial feature this year....some of our cast members are FLYING!!!   We hope to see you there!

Winner of the Week - Mrs. Loprogolo and her Math Class - This week her class applied ratios to real life. They simplified ratios to create icing colors. The kids enjoyed not only mixing colors but also eating the finished project.
