September 9 - 13, 2019

Our Scholar-Athletes in STEM class
Laskeside Lightning,

It's All About Respect at LMS!

We had a very successful opening this week. Our staff worked very hard to ensure that everything was prepared for students. Once the students arrived it was clear that this was going to be an epic year. They have adjusted well to the changes and our focus on the Non Negotiables.

The transition for 6th graders was by far one of our highlights. Since so many parents and students attended the New Student Orientation, they were more prepared than previous 6th graders. The 6th grade staff kept the kids in their homeroom all day and made sure they were aware of of the policies and procedures for our school.

The Vice Principals and Guidance Counselors hosted Grade Level Meetings on Thursday. During the meetings, they stressed the policies and procedures as well as each grade's expectations. Both the Vice Principals and the Guidance Counselors made it clear that they are here to help parents, students and staff!
