  • Dr. Cook, Lakeside Principal, sent a School Messenger out on Friday about the ongoing issues with Social Media Challenges. If you did not receive a text or an email or both, you need to makes sure your Infinite Campus. If you need help updating Infinite Campus, please contact the school 856-293-2420. Daily Announcements 

Events 
Attention 8th-graders: the Glow Dance will be Thursday, October 7, 2021, from 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM in the Auxiliary Gym and today is the last day to get tickets. Tickets are $5 and will include a bottle of water and a glow stick.

Help support our turtles and fish in the atrium.  We are selling Boscov’s  Friends Helping Friends discount passes for $5.00.  The one day, 25% discount is valid on October 20, 2021 from 8 AM – 11 PM.  You can purchase the discount pass from any secretary in the Main Office or from Mrs. Parker in M133.      

Club News 
The start date of Club 21 has been pushed back to October 12th.  In homeroom next week, letters will go out to students who have been accepted into the program.  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Gandy.

Sports! 
The field hockey team beat Fernwood Ave. Middle School yesterday in their first game of the season by a score of 1-0.  Kasey Gribble scored with an assist from Bryn Andres.  The JV team also won by a score of 1-0 with a goal from Mattie Moore and the assist from Holly Burns.   

Do you like basketball? The Millville Elks Lodge is  having their annual ELKS NATIONAL HOOP SHOOT / FREE THROW PROGRAM on Saturday, October 9th from 9 AM - NOON
This is a FREE event and is open to kids in age groups 8-9; 10-11 and 12 – 13. The program will be held at Millville Senior High. 
Students can advance through local levels and then move on to District, State, Regional & National Competitions.  One boy and one girl from each division can win a NATIONAL title at the National Finals and have their name inscribed in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.  Winners from the October 9th Hoop Shoot will move on to the district competition.
